EAT SEA VEGETABLES

Perhaps we feel drawn to the sea because it is our mother, the source from which humankind emerged countless millennia ago. Or maybe it is because our bodies are largely composed of slightly salty water. Whatever the reason, you can draw nourishment from the sea.

Sea vegetables contain vitamins A, B complex, C, and E, as well as the fifty-six minerals and trace minerals your body requires to function properly. They also have very little fat, a plus for those trying to maintain a healthy weight. Try arame, kelp, dulse, kombu, nori, and/or wakame in soups, stir-fry, and sushi.
