A drummer for the band Satan’s Night Out, Alex becomes one of the founding members of the band the Vampire Lestat after Lestat appears to him and his other mortal bandmates offering them fame and fortune. With his brother, Larry, on keyboards, Tough Cookie on guitar, and the vampire Lestat on lead vocals, the rock band becomes immensely famous. After their one and only concert, Lestat quits the band, never to play with them again, although he ensures that, through his lawyer, Christine, Alex and his other two bandmates will be well provided for, so that they will never have to worry about money again. Alex appears only in The Vampire Lestat (1985).
