In The Tale of the Body Thief (1992), Dr. Alexander Stoker, a retired English surgeon, is the identity that David Talbot selects for himself when he and Lestat, going under the alias “Sheridan Blackwood,” board the Queen Elizabeth 2 in pursuit of Raglan James, the Body Thief, who is in possession of Lestat’s vampiric body.
Alexander Stoker’s last name is a reference to the gothic author Bram Stoker.
