Charlie is the abusive boyfriend of Terry Sue, who becomes the mother of Tommy, whose father is Pops, the grandfather of the vampire Quinn Blackwood, whose mother is Patsy, the daughter of Pops and Sweetheart. Despite his grandfather’s extramarital affair with Terry Sue, Quinn still cares for his younger uncle, Tommy, and ensures that Charlie does no harm to Tommy or Terry Sue. Eventually, Charlie ends his life by shooting himself in the head.
