After Amel creates the city of Atlantis out of a chemical compound called luracastria, which he develops from his enhanced genetic coding, he establishes in his luracastric city a place of inspiration, imagination, innovation, and inventiveness, a sanctuary of pure artistry that will work to benefit humankind, a sanctuary that he calls the Creative Tower, where the walls are pearlescent and the floors are gold. It is not simply an edifice of industry, but also the place where many professional administrators establish their personal chambers, including Amel, who works and rules over the city from the Creative Tower, not tyrannically, but clemently, as a friend and guardian of the inhabitants.
The Creative Tower appears in Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis (2016). For more perspectives on the Creative Tower, read the Alphabettery entries Amel, Bravenna, Creative Gardens, and Luracastria.
