Fra Filippo Lippi

Fra Filippo is a brother and priest in the Order of the Carmelite friars of fifteenth-century Italy. A highly skilled and sought-after painter, Fra Filippo becomes patronized by the powerful Medici family, who commissions him to paint such works as The Annunciation and Seven Saints.

Vittorio di Raniari admires him greatly. After being abandoned on the streets of Florence by the vampire Florian’s coven, Vittorio encounters Fra Filippo’s two guardian angels, Ramiel and Setheus, who help him return to the Court of the Ruby Grail and slay its vampires, including Florian.
