Kadir of Istanbul is one of the ancient vampires, perhaps one of the Children of the Millennia or older, maybe even as old as Akasha’s ancient Egyptian court. Kadir has not yet recounted his tale for the Vampire Chronicles. He first appears before Lestat at the Winter Solstice Ball, celebrating the establishment of the Court of the Prince. He comes to pay his respects to the Prince of the Vampires.
