Featured in The Tale of the Body Thief, the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) is an ocean liner whereupon the Body Thief, Raglan James, endeavors to hide from Lestat after stealing his body. David Talbot books tickets on the QE2 for himself and Lestat. On the ship, Lestat (in Raglan’s former mortal body) and David Talbot find Raglan James (in Lestat’s vampire body) and fight with him until David psychically pushes Raglan’s etheric form out of Lestat’s body and back into his mortal body. David then also helps Lestat’s etheric form move out of Raglan’s mortal body and back into his vampire body, thus finally thwarting the Body Thief’s plan.
