“Stanford Wilde” is the alias that Lestat uses shortly before he switches bodies with Raglan James, the Body Thief. Lestat has all of his legal information and access to his money transferred from the alias “Lestan Gregor” to “Stanford Wilde,” using complex code words that his agents can utilize for transferring money by verbal command.
“Stanford Wilde” is another reference to Oscar Wilde, the first being “Sebastian Melmoth.”
