Thank you to all the authors out there—far too many to list—who have enriched my life over the past decade and a half with your holiday books. Fifteen years ago, I was going through a rough winter and my mother sent me a huge box of older holiday romances. I devoured them, immersing myself in fictional towns and traditions, and every year since then, I look forward to reading old favorites and discovering new ones. It’s among my favorite personal holiday traditions, and I’m so grateful that so many authors have written holiday books for us to enjoy.

In crafting my own holiday tale, I’m grateful to Wendy Qualls and Edie Danford, who helped me find the magic in Teddy and Nick when plotting. Layla Reyne and Karen Stivali keep me on track with support and writing sprints. My Facebook group, Annabeth’s Angels, is one of the brightest spots in my life—I really do have the best readers in the world, and I treasure each of you.

My agent, Deidre Knight, went above and beyond in finding Teddy and Nick a home. I am thrilled to be back working with my amazing Carina Press team, especially my editor, Deb Nemeth. Her insights enriched Nick’s arc in particular, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life.

I went through a bit of a rough patch while writing this one, and I’d like to acknowledge all the amazing care providers out there, the medical professionals who give so much to their professions, and the family members and friends who provide invaluable support. My own family and support network is amazing, and I couldn’t do this without them.
