LAMORAK WAS glad that Sophie and Kanani were safe; he went into battle with rival knight, fighting to the death. Perceval was swinging his sword and wounding his attacker. Lamorak swung his sword and killed him. Then they turned around and fought more knights coming towards them. It was a bloody battle, Lamorak was tired and his sword was growing, he looked around. The attacking knights had called a retreat and they fled taking their dead. To his sorrow, he saw that Sir Degore, Sir Alymere, and Sir Bedivere, were lying on the ground. He went over and checked, they were gone. Sir Lancelot was wounded, but able to ride, so it only left Sir Perceval, Sir Accalon, and Lamorak to bury the dead.  “That was Gawain’s men that attacked us, did Gawain survive?” Lamorak asked Perceval and Accalon.

“I don’t know, when are they going to let this feud go? We didn’t kill his father!” Yelled Perceval angrily to the fleeing rival knights.

“I don’t know. Lancelot, are you ok to move forward?” asked Lamorak.

“Yes, we have some horses that didn’t run off. We need to get them and ride as far as we can tonight.” Lancelot answered.

With that they picked Lancelot up and mounted the horses; the doves had all flown out of the Merlin’s bag and were gone. Lamorak was hoping when they all arrived in Camelot together with no message tied to them, perhaps King Arthur would know what happened and send more men to help them. They couldn’t worry about that now, they needed to find Sophia and Gunther.

Where did that dragon take them? Lamorak asked himself.
