SOPHIA CREPT back and woke Gunther, she told him what was happening. He was scared, but let Kanani and her get on him, Merlin got on the back end of Gunther. The brave dragon crept out of the cave, a Troll saw them and started throwing rocks at them, it made some loud noises and then the Troll’s friends came running up behind him to attack them too! Merlin grabbed his wand from his robe, pointed it at the Troll in front, said something, and he turned to stone! Then he did the same to the next one. The rest of the Trolls turned and ran in terror!
“Merlin will they stay that way?” Sophia asked him.
“For eternity, I hope! We need to get far from here as quickly as possible before anything else happens!” He explained. It was just turning daylight as they left on their journey.

“Look up there!” Screamed Perceval as he pointed at the white dragon in the sky ahead of them.
“That’s Gunther with Sophie, Kanani and Merlin!” Shouted Lamorak.
All the men yelled at the Dragon and sped up on their tired horses. It was to no avail; they were too far behind them and could not be heard. At least they knew they were alive and well. Now only if they could make better time.
