Who do you live with?
Lorenzo:
Hey, Elena. Are you tired?
Elena:
Yeah, a little. I didn’t sleep much last night.
Lorenzo:
Really? Why not?
Elena:
My sister’s baby was crying all night.
Lorenzo:
Oh, no. That’s not fun for anyone.
Elena:
No, it’s not.
Lorenzo:
How old is the baby?
Elena:
He’s three months.
Lorenzo:
Oh, he’s super young! Yeah, babies cry a lot at that age.
Elena:
Yep. I want to live alone but apartments in this city are so expensive.
Lorenzo:
Yes, they are.
Elena:
Who do you live with?
Lorenzo:
My friend Matteo. We have a two-bedroom apartment.
Elena:
Cool. Is he a good roommate?
Lorenzo:
Yeah, he’s a really good roommate. But he snores loudly!
Elena:
Oh, he does?
Lorenzo:
Yeah. I wear ear plugs almost every night. Sometimes I don’t sleep very well.
Elena:
So we have a similar problem! Except my roommate is a baby.
Lorenzo:
Ha ha, true! And hopefully in a few months your roommate will stop crying so much. I don’t know if Matteo will stop snoring!
Elena:
I hope so! I love my nephew, though. He’s so cute.
Lorenzo:
You’re lucky that you can spend so much time with him.
Elena:
I know.
Lorenzo:
Okay, well, I have to go. I hope you can sleep tonight!
Elena:
Me too!
