A walk on the beach

Lynn: It’s such a beautiful day!

Adamu: Yes, it is. A perfect day for a walk on the beach!

Lynn: We’re so lucky that we live close to the beach.

Adamu: Yeah. We should come more often.

Lynn: Yes, we should. I love the feeling of the sand under my feet.

Adamu: Me too. But sometimes the sand is hot!

Lynn: True. It feels nice right now, though.

Adamu: Yeah.

Lynn: I think I will collect some shells.

Adamu: That sounds fun. I think I will go for a swim. The water looks so inviting.

Lynn: Okay! Be careful!

Adamu: I won’t go out very far. I just want to swim for a couple minutes. And I’m a good swimmer.

Lynn: All right.

(Ten minutes later…)

Adamu: That was so refreshing! Did you find some good shells?

Lynn: Yes, a few. Look at this one.

Adamu: Oh, that’s cool! It’s so colorful.

Lynn: Was the water cold?

Adamu: It was cold at first, but then it felt good. The waves were a little strong, though.

Lynn: Yeah, they looked strong!

Adamu: I will sit on the sand for a while so I can dry off.

Lynn: Okay. I will look for some more shells. I will be back soon!
