Looking for apartments

Lina: We need to look for an apartment.

Vicente: Okay. What neighborhoods should we look in?

Lina: I think we should focus on North Park, Hillcrest, and Normal Heights.

Vicente: What about South Park?

Lina: I think South Park is a little too expensive. Let’s look at some websites.

Vicente: Good idea.

Lina: Look at this apartment. It’s a one-bedroom with a big living room. And it’s only $1,300 a month.

Vicente: That’s cheap. Where is it?

Lina: It’s in North Park. And the apartment complex has a pool!

Vicente: Oh, nice! Does it allow dogs?

Lina: Oh, oops. I forgot about that. We have a dog!

Vicente: How could you forget that?!

Lina: I don’t know. Hmm… here is another apartment. This one is in Hillcrest and it allows dogs. But it doesn’t have a pool.

Vicente: That’s okay. We don’t need a pool. How much is the rent?

Lina: It’s $1,450 a month.

Vicente: That’s a little expensive.

Lina: Yeah, it is. But the area is really nice and the apartment has two parking spaces too.

Vicente: Oh, that’s good. Parking can be difficult in that neighborhood!

Lina: Yes, that’s true.

Vicente: Should we contact them?

Lina: Yes, we should. I’ll send them an email now.

Vicente: Great! But let’s keep looking for more apartments.
