Cute dog
Jenny:
Excuse me. May I say hello to your dog?
Julian:
Sure! He would like that very much.
Jenny:
He’s so cute! What kind of dog is he?
Julian:
I’m not sure. He is a rescue.
Jenny:
He looks like a Chihuahua mix.
Julian:
Actually, I think he’s part spaniel and part Pomeranian.
Jenny:
I see.
Julian:
I think he actually looks like a very tiny golden retriever.
Jenny:
I think so, too! Is he a puppy?
Julian:
No, he is actually six years old.
Jenny:
Wow! But he looks like a puppy!
Julian:
Yeah, I think he will look like a puppy forever.
Jenny:
I hope so. He is so soft! I love his soft fur.
Julian:
He does have soft fur. He eats healthy dog food and it helps his fur stay silky.
Jenny:
That’s very nice of you. What’s his name?
Julian:
Stanley.
Jenny:
That’s a funny name for a dog. I think it’s so cute!
Julian:
Thank you.
Jenny:
Where did you get him?
Julian:
At the shelter. Stanley is a rescue dog.
Jenny:
That’s awesome! So is mine. She is lovely.
Julian:
Cool! How long have you had your dog?
Jenny:
I got her when she was one, and now she’s four, so about three years.
Julian:
What kind of dog is she? And what’s her name?
Jenny:
Her name is Coco and she’s a poodle mix.
Julian:
That’s nice.
Jenny:
Do you think Stanley would like Coco?
Julian:
I hope so. Should we schedule a playtime for them?
Jenny:
Sure! I would like that.
