melanin patched and parted/

itch kissing cuticle/ rough

rugs of flesh/ a camel’s back

all over my body/ a mahogany

monet/ my skin

/rid me of rash/ fingertips

tap dancing in overtime/

raking dead brown/ turned

white and flake/ floating

cinnamon specks/

brown body fading

a colored lottery ticket/

stitched by allergy/ a resewn
