Marc Chauvin and Rob Coppolillo are both certified by the International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations (IFMGA). Chauvin was the third American to be certified; Rob was the ninety-seventh. Chauvin also helped create the American Mountain Guides Association Certification Program and has assisted in developing its curricula over the past twenty-five years. He’s a past AMGA President, Alpine Discipline Coordinator, and Instructor Team Member. Coppolillo is also an accomplished author. He has written articles for Climbing and Skiing and is a contributing editor for Elevation Outdoors magazine. In 2013 he published a how-to cycling book called Holy Spokes: A Biking Bible for Everyone.
