About the Author

LiYana Silver is a torch-holder for the world-to-be in which the epidemic of women self-haters has long become absurd. For over fourteen years she has been coaching, mentoring, writing, speaking, leading live retreats and digital programs, supporting woman after woman to become simply and fully herself.

“Someone finally gets me!” is what most people say when they cross paths with LiYana, whether they are (as they have been) edge-cutting entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, artists, healers, social activists, mothers returning to work or balancing career with family, Fortune 500 leaders, or even a shaman or two.

LiYana works immersively with women in her six-month mentorship program, The Embodiment Experience, as well as in private sessions. She connects closely with women in the virtual sphere via her signature course, Ignite Your Feminine Genius, and her Facebook community. LiYana is a Holistic Health Coach, certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and holds a master’s certification in Transformational NLP. Her eyebrow-raising work has been featured in the Huffington Post, Forbes, Jezebel, and Emerging Women.

LiYana was born to new-age, free-thinking parents, raised on an intentional community in northern New Mexico, and grew up with garden veggies and hand-me-downs. (She has yet to get back in the box.) Nowadays, when she’s not caressing her computer keyboard, she’s dancing, being a silly, enchanted mama, falling in love with her husband all over again, tending her close friendships, smelling the fresh herbs growing on her windowsill, or painting in oils.

Some shoulders on which LiYana gratefully stands and which have greatly inspired her life and work: Carl Buchheit, Carla Camou, and Michelle Masters of Transformational NLP at NLP Marin, Integrative Nutrition, Vipassana mindfulness meditation, Vedic Tantra, Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Anthony Robbins, Landmark Education, Osho, Dolano, Gangaji, the Family Systems work of Bert Hellinger, and the thought-leadership of David Deida, Ilana Firestone and Kassy Sheklehoff (and all the teachers) at Morehouse, Alison Armstrong of PAX, Regena Thomashauer of Mama Gena’s School of Womanly Arts, Sabrina Chaw, Riane Eisler, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Dr. Patricia Taylor of Expanded Orgasm, Alexandra Beller Dances, Jodi White of Dance Theatre Seven, and her own extraordinary parents, Roland Silver and Beverly Pollack-Silver.
