Makes 8 servings
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
9-inch chocolate cookie crumb crust
Combine chocolate chips, corn syrup and peanut butter in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 7 to 10 minutes, until melted, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; mix in ice cream, blending until creamy. Pour into pie crust; freeze until firm.
Chocolate shavings look so delicate but are really simple to make. Just pull a vegetable peeler across a chilled bar of chocolate and watch it curl!
