Makes 10 servings
1/2 c. oil
2 T. honey
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 t. cinnamon
1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
In a bowl, mix together oil, honey, sugar and egg; set aside. In a separate bowl, stir cinnamon into flour; add to oil mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread in a greased 8"x8" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 25 minutes, until set. Remove from oven; pour Glaze over top and spread. Cool; cut into bars.
Glaze:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 T. mayonnaise
1 T. milk
1 t. vanilla extract
Blend together all ingredients; mix well.
Cake pops...kids of all ages love ‘em! Make some in a jiffy with this quick tip. Insert treat sticks in unglazed cake-type doughnut holes and dip in melted white or semi-sweet chocolate coating. Add candy sprinkles and stand them in a tall vase for easy serving...done!
