Chapter Six

The sun shined brightly in the sky. The trees whistled against the wind. Many children and teens played outside on the block. Skipper walked passed the houses on the calva sac. He smiled looking up at the matching houses with different colors. He stopped at a single green home with a welcome mat on the porch. He rang the doorbell and a few minutes later, the door opened with Jenny.

“Hey,” she smiled looking at him.

“Hey. You ready?” he asked her.

“Yep,” she said lightly.

Skipper put his hands into his pockets and smiled looking at Jenny. She blushed and grabbed his arm leaning her head on his shoulder. About fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the local movie theater. Skipper paid for the tickets and they entered in. Jenny pointed to the movie food. Jenny loaded up a tray filled with popcorn and candy. Skipper sighed and shook his head thinking girls love junk food. He got himself a ICEE and placed it near the cashier. Jenny began to eat her candy as Skipper paid for it. They ambled to the back theater and handed their tickets to the movie theater employee. She ripped their tickets and gestured to them their movie. Jenny and Skipper walked into their movie. The movie began to start and Jenny started eating. They sat down near the middle of the theater and watched it as the previews began to roll.

He sighed wondering how he got suckered into a chick flick. Jenny leaned her head against his shoulder and watched the movie. He looked over at her and smiled a little. The movie started the people in the movie theater smiled seeing the credits roll.

Over an hour and a half later, Jenny and Skipper exited the movie theater. Jenny threw the tray in the trash and jumped up and down.

“That was such a great film. We should go see another one like that,” Jenny smirked.

Skipper chuckled, “maybe another time, Jenny.”

She sauntered over to him and pressed her lips against his in an innocent kiss. He was caught off guard and stood back surprised. She smiled and stood back with her hands behind her back.

“I wanted to thank you, Skipper. I had a great time,” she smirked.

He blinked his eyes then a smile grew on his face “your welcome, Jenny.”

She hugged him and hooked her arm around his, “I do need to get home, but I would love to go again.”

Skipper glanced down at her, “sure.”

They strolled in silence from the theater to her house. A goofy grin appeared on Skipper’s face. He was in a daze from the kiss. As they reached her house, Jenny leaned forward and kissed his lips once more. Skipper lightly kissed her back. She parted from him and started for her front door.

“I’ll see you at school tomorrow.” Skipper grinned.

She waved to him and closed the door behind her. Skipper turned and chuckled. He received his first kiss and felt over the moon.

Jenny ambled with her friends. Skipper and her exchanged looks of happiness. Zeke glanced at Skipper and Jenny.

“Did you go on a date with Jenny?” Zeke asked.

Skipper turned his attention to Zeke, “I did. We had a great time.”

“So, you both have become an item or something?” Zeke asked.

“I think we have become more than friends. I don’t think we made it official but I think I want to,” Skipper smiled.

“I think you should,” Zeke slapped his friend’s back.

Tommen strolled over to them and looked over at Skipper and frowned, “did you hear about that Raven girl. She called me the antithesis last time.”

“Who comes up to a person to say that?” Zeke grimaced.

“I was wondering the same thing but I promise you, she is bad news,” Tommen suggested.

Skipper shook his head and glanced in the direction to see Raven watching him, “she may be weird but as long she isn’t threatening no one then nothing is wrong.”

Skipper strode away and headed toward to Jenny. She blushed as he came up to her. They sauntered closer to one another. Zeke smiled for a moment then turned to see Tommen facing him.

“When did that happen?” Tommen questioned.

Zeke ambled around Tommen, “it happened like yesterday. Who cares. Tommen, you’re not everyone’s favorite person.”

Tommen wiped his noise on his clothes then frowned at Zeke, “everyone likes me.”

Red eyes appeared above Tommen. A red hand formed on his shoulder then disappeared.

Raven glanced at Tommen then frowned. She glanced at direction of Skipper walking with Jenny. She wondered if Jenny would take her warning but now she wasn’t so sure. Raven looked in the direction of Zeke and saw an aura of blue green with black.

“What is that?” She whispered.

Black and green waters pushed against a row boat. The cloaked figure moved the hand to the side of the boat and moved the hood off his head. The figure looked over at the water and saw his reflection to be Skipper. His eyes were blue green and glowing. He looked back in the boat to see Aquarian watching him.

“You again?” Skipper commented.

Aquarian smirked as he glanced at Skipper, “I am here, Skipper.”

“What do you want with me? I told you last time that I want to be a teenager. Don’t you understand that I didn’t want all this power?” Skipper roared.

“Your life isn’t your own, Skipper and your powers are evolving. You will need to be properly trained when the time comes. You won’t be able to hide forever. You will need to make choice. Some things are bigger than us.” Aquarian specified.

Skipper shook his head, “who are you?”

“I am the guardian of this galaxy. We are in my age, Aquarius. I need you as the one to the prophesy. I need you to protect for what is about to come.” Aquarian said in grave manner.

“Aquarian, please pick someone else. I don’t want this. I don’t want power. Give it to someone else.” Skipper frowned.

“You were chosen by Fate and Destiny. Life isn’t what we expect, but we have to rise with responsibility. This isn’t a mere dream. You are destined for greatness. There is more to this story than you realize.” Aquarian pronounced.

“I’m only fourteen, Aquarian. I’m just some dumb teenager who wants a life. I’m not important.” Skipper laughed off.

Aquarian shook his head and stood up jumping into the air.

He levitated in the air then chuckled at the boy. “You were chosen and will learn that nothing be escaped from destiny and fate. You may talk all you like, but then again the time has come for you.”

Aquarian disappeared into the sky shimmering up to the darkness. Skipper stared up at the sky and sighed. He glanced over the boat once more and was drawn in. As Skipper opened his eyes, he looked up to see himself glowing in a radiant blue green glow. He got out of his bed and stared at the sun peaking from over the houses. He glanced down at his hands shimmering with the same energy. Skipper funneled over to his mirror and gasped seeing his eyes glowing blue green. He sighed and shook his face. After a few moments, his eyes and body shifted to become normal once more.

Tommen sat looked up at the sun moving higher over clouds. He smiled slightly for he didn’t have many friends. He was considered a person who didn’t have many. People knew of him and thought he was a bit strange, but no stranger than Skipper. He looked down at his hands and saw a faint of red. He shook his head and leaned back into the bench.

Tommen didn’t know what was happening but it seemed to fade and come back at will at times. He couldn’t tell anyone what could be happening to him. He felt a friendship to Skipper and others but no one called him a friend. A red glow emitted around him and he closed his eyes. The red glow emitted around him then faded all together. A cloaked figure stood in the shadows watching Tommen.

The stars swirled in the night’s sky. The waters poured from the large jars. Aquarian stood at the gates overlooking Earth and sighed. He turned to look back at Gaia who shimmered next to him.

“Gaia, something is changing,” he turned to her.

“I know because destiny is calling,” she said casually.

“Destiny?” he questioned her.

“Aquarian, there is duality in the age of Aquarius and it is forming no matter what we decide. I fear that what we had plan the balance is going to be there no matter what.” Gaia rounded.

Aquarian sighed and strolled away from her, “Gaia, we are not playing chess here, but the fate of humanity is important.”

“It’s more than that, Aquarian because it’s no longer just humanity but nature itself.” Gaia said cryptically.

“What do you mean?” he questioned her.

“There were two sides but there is a third forming. The gray area shall come and it is within those moments that we have to realize that the actions of humanity has upon this world and outside of it.” Gaia reasoned.

Aquarian deliberated what she had said and glared. “Gaia, the second awakening hasn’t come. We still have time.”

“There is never enough time, Aquarian. We are at war with three sides forming in one place. We are fighting everything at once and it must show that. We have to remember that it’s not a dream.” Gaia quoted.

“What side are you on, Gaia?” Aquarian moseyed over to her and bowed his head.

“The side that will take care of me. The side that will ensure my survival,” she said ordinarily then disappeared into the darkness.

Aquarian glanced up at the stars and exhaled. He turned to see a Pisces come into view and smiled with a menacingly glare. Pisces’ eyes were light blue and orange studying the current guardian. He wore a long toga with fish earrings in a yin and yang set. His hair was short and wore a headband with his name on it.

“What are you doing in my realm?” Aquarian intimidatingly ordered.

Pisces clapped his hands and scowled at him. “Dear brother, we are both guardians, but I lost. My time is over but you are having your hands full.”

“This is my age and you came into destroying it with your temptations. Look at what humanity is doing to the galaxy and world.” Aquarian barked.

“I didn’t do it all. Greed and power was their game. They wanted more and offered it to me. I took what I desired. They corrupted themselves by moving forward. They worshipped idols and gods that overtook what they wanted.” Pisces noted.

“I never told them to do onto me, but their elites praised me and granted me great power. Look at what the humans achieved in the short time of my reign. I was given sovereignty. No matter how you look at it. You can’t completely get out of your Aquarius Age.” Pisces exposed.

“I will always be there. They follow and worship what they desire. We will always be at war but in this time of my guardianship, I am not the one to blame as they offered and gave it freely. They were so vile in doing that it costed their lives.” Pisces laughed.

“One day they will face extinction, but they chose to live in the present. The humans opened themselves to others who would steal from them. So many poor unfortunate souls that didn’t know they had corrupted and destroyed their own legacies to come.” Pisces continued.

“Pisces, they led themselves down that path because you were bored and wanted entertainment. You forgot who you are as a guardian and gave into temptation.” Aquarian shouted at Pisces.

“You can’t exile or get rid of me, Aquarian. I am much more then you can defeat. I knew your age was coming and I wanted more of me to be in it. I didn’t want to lose my total power, but remember I had time to inflict what I have. My reign is over but it isn’t fully.” Pisces sneered at Aquarian.

“I have more games at play and to corrupt and take. I will always be powerful. You never recognized of my true plan and I won’t tell it now. You will find out in the future. You won’t have the power to destroy me.” Pisces smoothed.

“I will have every power and you will see it soon. You will pay for what you did.” Aquarian shrieked out.

“Are you sure about that?” Pisces taunted Aquarian.

“Yes, I am very sure about that.” Aquarian chuckled.

“Little Aquarian, your age just started and you have much to learn. You are still weak now. I will wait for you to become stronger to take me on. When you move more into your age and become stronger than I will take you on if you desire, but right now you are worthless.” Pisces roared.

“Why do you come here and taunt me?” Aquarian frowned at Pisces.

“I want to enjoy the first moments of your lost. I want to see what you can accomplish,” Pisces mocked at Aquarian.

“You may have seen some partial future of what this age could entail, yet I have the full authority. You will never fully see, Pisces. The Aquarius Age has a champion and even you don’t know. I have faith in my champion.” Aquarian moved his hands in a ritualistic manner summoning the Aquarian magic around him.

His hands continued to move and bend showing his power. The waters swirled and moved around him as the stars moved forward like daggers ready to strike the former guardian. Pisces glanced up and grimaced.

“And, I shall have mine too. I will come back and dethrone you, Aquarian. My reign was never meant to end. You will have your hands full with a full blown war.” Pisces narrowed his eyes at Aquarian.

“Then a war of the celestials it will come but my side will win,” Aquarian exhaled out.

“Then mark my words, every battle I will win,” Pisces said sinisterly.

“We shall see about that,” Aquarian rendered saying.

Aquarian and Pisces scoffed at one another. The darkness swirled around them. The stars shined brightly then lit up firing in the dark void. Aquarian and Pisces glared at one another for the battle had begun and the timing of everything was now at hand. Pisces shimmered into an orange haze disappearing. The waters below Aquarian stood out brightly and Aquarian fell to the ground looking at the stars below. He knew things were going to be harder as to what fate and destiny said was coming more profoundly then he anticipated.

Tommen sat on a bench as Zeke and Skipper walked up to him. Tommen looked up at both boys with some distinctive hate. He was sort of an outcast but didn’t really have anyone. He wanted to be friends with more people but didn’t feel like he could fit in. Even Skipper had a friend and Tommen didn’t feel all that pleased how could not? Skipper and Zeke sat down beside Tommen.

“Hey Tommen, why are you always alone?” Zeke sniggered at him.

Tommen moped then turned his head, “because I feel like it.”

“No one likes being alone, Tommen. You are such a fool,” Zeke continued to laugh.

“Did you guys come to bother me about being alone once more?” Tommen said absolutely.

“No. We always worry about you, Tommen. Some people need some looking after. We just care and you’re our friend even if you don’t see it that way,” Skipper said looking at Tommen.

Tommen gasped as he looked at Skipper, for the strange boy, he thought just called him a friend.

“Friend?” Tommen mouthed the words.

Zeke pointed to Skipper, “his friend, not mine. Your too strange Tommen.”

Tommen frowned then stood up, “thanks, Skipper. I have to go.”

Tommen ran off leaving Skipper and Zeke to sit with one another.

“Why did you go and butter Tommen up for that? You aren’t really his friend. You’re just saying that dribble to be on his good side.” Zeke chuckled.

Skipper shook his head. “I meant what I said Zeke. Tommen is a friend. I don’t see any different as we all live in a small town and build things together. We live here and should live in harmony.”

“You’re confusing, Skipper. What does that have to mean?” Zeke interrogated his friend.

“There’s just so many things going on and I’m starting to see things different. I keep…” Skipper paused and looked in the distance to see a shadowy figure watching him.

Skipper turned then walked away leaving Zeke frowning at him, “like what?”

Skipper ran a different direction, for things were beginning to be blurred as the dreams seemed to almost push him to the brink.

Zeke sat on the bench and shook his head, “what is going on with him?”

He turned his head to the sky and looked up at the constellations in the sky.

Tommen continued to run down the street. In the distance, Raven watched Tommen as he ran. She sensed something different in him. She pondered what it was, but sensed another growing power in the direction.

“Could it be?” she questioned.

She turned her attention between Tommen who was running away and another stilled power source that was there hiding in the distance. Raven’s energy glowing. She glowered as the two energies seemed the same, yet not. Something was changing and it was a different direction. She began to run after Tommen but felt red eyes glowing in the distance watching her.

Raven focused her energy then pushed against the eyes watching her, “you will not, Pisces.”

Her energy flared then the red eyes disappeared. Raven looked back between both and sighed for something was changing but didn’t know what.

Cersin stared out at the window and smiled evilly. The Light Corporation was fading. He had all the means of power and prestige as it comes from working with the group. He had gained control with his time there. He was a powerful mystic and psychic who commanded beyond. He believed in his own valor and decided that he would be the one who would inherit what Pisces would deem as a successor. Grody and Eagon stood behind him. The three of them would run their own division as they disbanded from the Light Group Corporation. They would find their own path in the war against the child of prophesy.

Cersin turned around and smiled to his two other friends and business partners. They would rule everything within the timeframe as they would wait for Pisces to come again, though they would fight against the child of destiny.

“We will conquer what is to come, but we will be within the shadows to see what our other friends will do. We are The Gins and have a special type of power.” Cersin masked.

“All will shake under our power,” Eagon remarked.

“There was three wise men in the world, yet we show that power once more,” Grody commented.

Cersin glowed white, Grody shined black and Eagon flamed brown. Their eyes matched their energy, yet three small circles formed around their backs. All three nodded to one another for the world would know them as The Gins and they would come against Aquarian Children at all costs with their own idealism.

The afternoon sun blazed down hard on the basketball courts. Skipper dribbled the ball against the pavement court then firing it into the basket. Zeke wiped his hand against his forehead and glared. He went to the sidelines to check the ball with Skipper. Zeke took the ball and tried to helm it to the basket but Skipper caught the ball and dribbled it to the other side of the court. Skipper smirked and checked the ball on the sidelines with Zeke again. Zeke took the ball and shot the ball from spot to make a three pointer. The ball flew high and hit the basket. Time seemed to have slowed down as it rolled on the basket rim. Zeke held his hands up after the shot. Skipper moved to the basket to get a rebound. The ball enters the basket and Zeke jumped up and down. Skipper rolled his eyes at Zeke.

“I still won,” Skipper teased.

Zeke did a victory dance, “doesn’t matter. I scored that final point.”

“I wiped you twenty to fifteen,” Skipper called out

Skipper sauntered over to his gym bag in the corner and sighed. He pulled out a water bottle then drank from it. Zeke walked over to his gym bag and opened it. He pulled out a burger and began to eat. Skipper glanced over at his friend and rolled his eyes.

“Really?” Skipper chuckled.

Zeke fluttered his eyes and pouted his lips looking at Skipper, “yes.”

The winds shifted and Skipper sensed a glow forming around his hands. His hands began to emit a dark green energy. He looked down at Zeke who was eating his burger. He turned and stuck his hands behind his back. Zeke continued to eat his burger then looked in the direction of the trees’ leaves falling down to the ground in a circle. The winds picked up constantly then altered. The skies began to turn a dark color. Zeke’s hair wiped around him.

“How strange?” Zeke distinguished.

He got up and strode to the leaves forming into a circle. Zeke kneeled at the ground and looked around him. He looked oddly at the tree as it glowed. The winds continued to blow hard.

“What’s going on?” Zeke asked as he noticed the tree glowing bright green then red.

Skipper looked down at his hands as the energy was circling around him. He silently yelped then kneeled to the ground unable to control himself. Green-blue energy formed around him like a ticking bomb. A hand held over Skipper then disappeared. Zeke turned around to see the energy fade away.

“Skipper, what happened?” Zeke enquired turning around to see his friend missing. “Skipper?”

Red eyes formed over Zeke and smiled above him then disappeared. Zeke turned around to find nothing there.
