This was an eye-opener. I thought I might relax a little if I start enjoying the little things. It was time to collect my reward from the mine keeper. He let me choose between a very rare and a normal item. Of course, I went for the rare item. It was a big bat. The creature flew over me. I thought I might use the company. Right away I got an offer to trade. It was my first one and I wanted to see what it was all about.
“Hey Noob, I’m RobloxNumber1! Do you want to trade?” – The fellow miner asked.
“Yeah sure... How do we go about this? This is my first trade, to be honest.” – I replied.
“Well, I make an offer and you can make a counteroffer from your items. Then we both got the options to accept it or not.” – RobloxNumber1 seemed pretty friendly. He also had some interesting stuff. There were egg hatchlings which were a thing I’ve never seen. I offered a chest I received as a reward but he ended up refusing the trade.
It wasn’t a big deal as I still had the space program to explore. I went over to the guy dressed in a spacesuit and got transported to some planet. It wasn’t very different from the place I came from but I wanted to try that mine. I noticed that I was the only one there and remembered Citarella’s advice.
I started to dig and I noticed the spaced out music. Going deeper into the mine I discovered similar materials to those in the normal mine. I was hoping to find stuff that was worth a lot of coins. Obviously, I had to dig a hole that was deep enough. It did take me a while to do it but no luck. I was afraid I’d dig my way through the other side of the planet.
After a while, I realized that this mine didn’t have some extraordinary items. The experience alone was interesting but I wanted to get the reward after collecting the necessary items. This time it was an egg hatchling. It sparked my curiosity but required me to dig 50k blocks before it hatched. It was back to earth for me. The fact that I didn’t have big expectations meant I didn’t get disappointed this time around. It only made me crave the toy world much more.
I started digging again but what I really wanted were some more upgrades. Working my way up the ladder, I got another request for a trade. I didn’t have the time to do that so I declined the offer. When I got enough coins for the upgrades I wanted, I bought them right away. They really did the trick. Feeling a bit tired, the time had come for my next journal entry. It was enough digging for the day.
“Dear diary,
I really want to remember what I’ve learned about friendship and girls. True friends tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to. Citarella made me realize that you need to take the good along with the bad. Also, girls can sometimes be more than just for dates – they can be in the area between grownups and boys. I learned from here without feeling like I’m in a classroom.”
