Entry #10: Upgrade everything

image

This time around I noticed that I spend too much going in and out of the mines. It was time to get a bigger backpack. I saved up the money for one that was much bigger, not the next best thing. The next time I was out of the mine, I had almost gathered the number of stones for toy land. Without wasting any time, I was back for more. Finally, I managed to hit the million mark. It was time for me to check out what I’ve been waiting for all this time.

I went over to the toy world and from what I could see it was a great scene. What I was more interested in was what the mine had to offer. It was much easier to dig deep into it. The rewards themselves weren’t that special at the upper levels but were much more consistent. As I got deeper into the mine, I started to understand that these were materials for some of the things the mining simulator was made of. The lower levels had some really nice prizes too.

Everything that sounds too good to be true usually doesn’t last long. The drawback of toy land was the mines collapsed too often. There weren’t any bonuses that were worth staying long there either. Not to mention I couldn’t find any of my friends there. Soon, I returned to the original world and began mining there again. In no time, I collected enough coins to buy some huge storage. Now it was time to spend some time digging. The storage seemed to take ages to fill. I got a laser gun to dig faster but lo and behold, it wasn’t much faster than my previous weapon. The mythical scythe was the only thing to strive for if I was to get all I wanted. I decided to put that as a goal in my journal.

“Dear diary,

I have worked myself up to being an elite miner. I found that there are a lot of things that make the experience of everyday life here more interesting. Still, I think I have a lot to go through. I really like doing this and I have to set new challenges for myself to keep going. I hope my friends will be of help with that.

Signing off until tomorrow,

Noob.”
