Easy Salisbury Steak
Servings: 12
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) can milk
Directions
Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2 Mix ground beef, oats, egg, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, water, dried minced onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly combined; form into 6 oval-shaped patties.
Step 3 Heat a huge skillet over medium heat. Cook patties in the hot skillet until browned completely, 2 minutes per side. Transfer browned patties to a baking dish.
Step 4 Top patties with onion rings. Stir mushroom soup and milk together in a bowl; pour over patties. Cover baking dish with aluminum foil.
Step 5 Bake in the preheated oven until firm, hot, and grey in the guts, about 45 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
