I can’t believe we are finally at the end of our retelling journey! It has been years in the making, and I am so proud of every one of these stories. Glow is my first science fantasy, and I still think about where Areina ended up once she left Europa. Beast and Bloom ended up with one of the prettiest covers I’ve had commissioned. Unsealed is a story that’s been in the making for years, as I’ve been dying to write a boardwalk story ever since Carnival of Curses came out. And Song of the Woods is probably the best retelling I’ve ever written, and it let me jump back into the Pie-Jinks world!
As always, I am so grateful to my production team: Arielle Bailey for her work on developmental editing, Deborah O’Carroll for her polishing touch, and Savannah Jezowski for making the best covers. All of you have been so encouraging and supportive on this journey, and I am excited to continue my publishing career with you as long as you’ll have me!
Thanks also to my family and friends. Once again, and most of all, thanks to my husband who is my inspiration and muse. Thanks also to my parents, siblings, in-laws, grandmother (Bammi), and other extended family. And thanks to all my friends who have always been there whether you read these stories or not.
Finally, thank you, dear readers, for following me to the end of this journey. I’m so honored to have reached each one of you, and I can’t wait to see where we go next!
