1. Ben’s mother has also featured in many TV programs, including Men Behaving Badly and Only Fools and Horses.
2. Ben now lives in Shepherd’s Bush in West London.
3. He says that one of his career highlights was being read an unpublished poem by Harold Pinter.
4. For his university dissertation, Ben wrote about how Stanley Kubrick was the world’s greatest director.
5. Ben’s favourite holiday destinations include Namibia, West Bengal and Iceland!
6. His favourite books include Saturday by Ian McEwan and William Golding’s To The Ends of the Earth trilogy.
7. The only long-term relationship Ben has had was with college classmate Olivia Poulet - they dated for 12 years but split up in 2012.
8. Ben is sadly not on Twitter, although there are a few fake and parody accounts to follow should you wish!
