Every time I get to the “Thank you” part I’m flabbergasted by how much further I’ve come. I don’t think even in my craziest fantasies did I imagine the level success that A Twist of Fate and A Leap of Faith have achieved. To have literally thousands (THOUSANDS!!!) of people reading your books from all over the globe is beyond humbling and I’m honoured to be a part of your lives.

While I have no words that will ever be enough to express my gratitude (which is ironic cause I’m a writer – insert laughter here) there are a few people who have helped me along the way and without whom this wouldn’t have been possible.

Gep, Jenna, Liam and Woodley- I know that it isn’t always easy being around me, especially when I am consumed by creative energy. Your understanding, love and support is what carries me through. Though sometimes beds remain unmade, dinners are late and the laundry pile grows, you overlook my deficiencies and allow me to be who I need to be. I love you and you mean so much more to me than you will ever know and my world would not turn without you in it.

Gian, thank you for all your design work. I know I pulled the “hey remember when you were little and I did… So can you do some design work for me?” card but there is no one else I’d trust to bring to life what’s in my head. I’m proud of what you’ve achieved and so blessed that I get to share this with you.

Angelique, thank you for your beautiful photography. Those beautiful images are exactly what I envisioned. They are perfect.

Sam, Nat, Mini, Golf, Shell, Juzzie and Grace- my circle of trust. There are things I say that should probably never be repeated and things that I say, I can’t say enough. I adore you, love you and thank you. You listen to my rants, laugh at my jokes, comfort me when I cry and beta-read my books. I’m so glad to be able to share this with you, consider it payment for all the crazy shit I’ve pulled in the past. FYI this does not mean there will not be crazy shit in the future; I’ll just have to figure some other way to work off that debt.

Sam, it is absolutely insane the amount of time you generously give me. Your kindness and patience knows no boundaries and I am so, so thankful to not only count you as one of my closest friends but as trusted adviser. If I was the Godfather you would definitely be my Consigliere. Your logic in my lunacy is paramount to this process. You centre me in a way not many people can, (must be your internal compass ;-) Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you.

Thank you to the Blogs and Bloggers out there who have read the books and shown them love. The Blog-e-sphere is new to me and it is only recently that I have discovered how integral you are. Your love of my books encourages others to read them and I get to share my words with a larger group of people. Thank you for your support and very amusing reviews.

Once again, a massive thanks must go to YOU, my reader. I read each and every message I receive and love how much you adore my characters and their antics. Every single one of you is significant and if I could wrap you in a big group hug I would. Thank you for your continuing support, readership and enthusiasm. I promise Book 3 isn’t far away and it will be worth the wait.

Lastly to Lexi and Alex - it feels weird not thanking you because you have become such a major part of my life. I laugh and cry along with you through the many pages and I will be so incredibly sad when the last word is written. You will always be with me both in my heart and in my soul.
