MATERIALS

3 PRECUT 2½˝ STRIPS (1 main, 1 contrasting, 1 background)

CUTTING

• From main precut 2½˝ strip, cut 2 squares 2½˝ × 2½˝ and 2 rectangles 2½˝ × 6½˝.

• From contrasting precut 2½˝ strip, cut 1 square 2½˝ × 2½˝.

• From background precut 2½˝ strip, cut 2 squares 2˝ × 2˝.

Sew a main 2½˝ × 2½˝ square to either side of a contrasting 2½˝ × 2½˝ square. Sew a main 2½˝ × 6½˝ rectangle to the top and bottom.

Layer a background 2˝ × 2˝ square on one corner of the sewn unit. Stitch diagonally corner to corner. Trim the excess fabric. Repeat with the remaining corners.
