Small Snowball

4½˝ × 4½˝ FINISHED

MATERIALS

2 CHARM SQUARES (contrasting colors)

CUTTING

• Cut 1 charm square into 4 squares 2˝ × 2˝

Large Snowball

9½˝ × 9½˝ FINISHED

MATERIALS

2 PRECUT 10˝ SQUARES (contrasting colors)

CUTTING

• Cut 1 precut 10˝ square into 4 squares 4˝ × 4˝.

FOR SMALL Align a 2˝ × 2˝ square on a corner of the contrasting charm square and sew from corner to corner on the 2˝ × 2˝ square. Trim excess. Repeat with the 3 other 2˝ × 2˝ squares.

FOR LARGE Use 4˝ × 4˝ squares on the corners of the contrasting 10˝ square.

Framed Snowball

6½˝ × 6½˝ FINISHED

MATERIALS

2 CHARM SQUARES (contrasting colors)

1 PRECUT 2½˝ STRIP (to match 1 charm square)

CUTTING

• Cut 1 charm square into 4 squares 2˝ × 2˝.

• Cut precut 2½˝ strip into 1 rectangle 2½˝ × 5˝ and 1 rectangle 2½˝ × 7˝.

Follow instructions for Small and Large Snowballs, adding strips to the top and side.

For a charming quilt, rotate the block placement.
