1 Press the Sauté button on Instant Pot®. Melt ghee. Add onion and sauté for 3–5 minutes until translucent. Add remaining ingredients, except for the rice, to Instant Pot®. Lock lid.
2 Press the Manual button and adjust time to 10 minutes. When timer beeps, quick-release the pressure until float valve drops and then unlock lid.
3 Press Sauté button, press Adjust button and change the temperature to Less, and simmer uncovered for approximately 10 minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated. Serve over cooked basmati rice.
