Pistachio-Crusted Halibut

The pistachios that encrust this dish give this fish a unique flavor. Pistachios have a rich and nutty flavor and add a distinct texture to the sweetness of the halibut.

1 Preheat the oven to broiler for 500°F.

2 In a small bowl, combine mustard, lemon juice, bread crumbs, pistachios, and salt to form a thick paste.

3 Pat the halibut fillets dry with a paper towel. Rub the paste on the top of each fillet and place in steamer basket.

4 Pour 1 cup water in the Instant Pot®. Insert trivet. Place steamer basket on trivet. Lock lid.

5 Press the Manual button and adjust time to 5 minutes. When timer beeps, quick-release the pressure until float valve drops and then unlock lid. Transfer fillets to a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet.

6 Broil for approximately 1–2 minutes until tops are browned. Remove from heat and serve hot.
