About the Author

A born storyteller, Maggie Craig is the acclaimed Scottish author of the ground-breaking Damn’ Rebel Bitches: The Women of the 45 and several page-turning historical novels set in Edinburgh and her hometown of Glasgow. She comes from a family where writing is considered an entirely normal thing to do and numbers among her forbears Robert Tannahill, the weaver-poet of Paisley. She has two grown-up children and a lovely daughter-in-law – the two grown up children are also lovely! She lives in the north of Scotland with her Welsh husband.

When she’s not writing, she loves to read, take photographs, listen to music and drink a good, strong cup of Indian tea.

She has served two terms on the committee of the Society of Authors in Scotland and is a regular and popular speaker around Scotland’s libraries and book festivals.
