Appendix III: Deaths in the British Armed Forces, 1948–1960

These figures were communicated to Roger Broad by the Armed Forces Personnel Administration Agency in June 2005. The Agency stresses that they may not be accurate. The figures for deaths in Kenya are certainly strange, because the Secretary of State for War told parliament on 31 January 1956 that eleven national servicemen had been killed in action in Kenya.
