COVER IMAGE

The third-generation XK model was the XK150, which was introduced in 1957, complete with a much modified style, and with four-wheel disc brakes. It was the first series-production Jaguar to use them.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I would like to thank all my contacts, colleagues, and friends at Jaguar, both in the UK and in the USA, for allowing me to use the factory-sourced illustrations. Their pictorial archive, along with the facts and figures which are also available to serious researchers, make it a joy to work with the company.
