She holds a Ph.D. in educational leadership and was a professor and executive coach before she founded Sage Goddess. She blends her training in Shamanism, aromatherapy, Reiki, world history, linguistics, comparative religion, and leadership to bring a perspective that is both theoretical and practical.

Athena feels strongly that all spiritual paths are, in fact, One Path moving in the same direction, working toward the same goals, and anchored in the same history. Her desire to find a common thread and unite the world around their common experiences has inspired many people to connect with their own roots and find healing, forgiveness, and peace.
