Dear Reader,

I’m delighted to lead off the MANHUNTING... miniseries, because I’ve been there. I spent so many dateless Valentine’s Days that on one of them, my father gave me a book—How To Get a Teenage Boy and What To Do With Him When You Get Him by Ellen Peck. I guess he was afraid I’d never get married. That’s why I can sympathize with Hayley. However, since I was the one writing Hayley’s story, I made sure Hayley found a groom. But you know what? I read the book my dad gave me and the next Valentine’s Day, I had a boyfriend. Five years later, he was my groom!

Happy Valentine’s Day, and good luck!
