Daphne’s father struggles in the grip of the robot clown. The clown’s feet suddenly transform into wheels and it speeds across the center ring.

HONK! HONK! The robot squeezes its red nose to warn the other clowns to get out of the way.

“Quick! We have to stop that mechanical monster before it gets away with Dad!” Daphne yells. She leaps out of her seat and jumps into the circus ring.

“Wait for me!” her four identical sisters all say at the same time. They take off after Daphne.

The Blake sisters chase the fleeing robot, but the real clowns accidentally get in the way. A super-long trick scarf springs from one of their pockets and wraps around Daphne’s ankle. She trips and falls, and her sisters fall on top of her, one after the other.

THWUMP! THWUMP! THWUMP! They pile up like a stack of pancakes.

Daphne watches the mechanical kidnapper zoom out of the tent with her father.

“Re robot’s retting aray,” Daphne struggles to say with her face squashed under her siblings.

The real clowns shove a circus teeter-totter board under the sisters and lift up one end with a toy car jack. They pump and pump until the Blake sisters are upright and can separate.

“I’m taking command of this rescue mission!” Daphne’s sister, Delilah, announces. “I have the military skills and training for search and rescue.”

“Yeah. Delilah’s the Marine Corps officer, Daph. You’re an amateur compared to her,” Dorothy Blake agrees.

“Hey, Daphne’s smart enough for Mystery Inc.,” Dawn Blake points out.

“Says the fashion model,” Delilah smirks.

“Aaaand sibling rivalry strikes again,” Daisy Blake observes.

“And, while we’ve been standing here arguing, the robot clown is getting away!” Daphne states. “Listen, Delilah, I have my skill set, and you have yours. Let’s split up. It’s a Mystery Inc. tradition.”
