Perhaps like you, I wear a lot of hats. I’m a mom, wife, friend, dog lover, and fan of all things chocolate and doughy. I’m also a psychic medium, intuitive counselor, and spiritual teacher. As you might guess, the primary reason people seek me out isn’t for my pet or nutrition advice. It’s for real-world guidance that I channel from divine souls on the Other Side, including angels, spirit guides, loved ones, and other evolved beings whose job is to support you in all that you do. I refer to these groups of celestial helpers as our Universal Teams, and they know quite a lot about what it takes to live your best life—whether that means healing a broken heart, finding a job that aligns with your passions, or overcoming a past that holds you back. They’re intent on helping humanity live in a way that feels good and true to our souls.
Now what if I said that you, too, can connect to your Team’s wisdom and guidance, and that all it requires is to engage three powerful steps that will raise your intuition, connect you to God’s energy, and set change in motion when you feel stuck or blocked? I refer to this process as Believe, Ask, and Act, and this book will show you how to use it. My own Team says there are more effective ways than others to establish your beliefs, partner with knowing souls, and reach your goals. These differences determine whether you face obstacles at every turn or follow a smoother road to joy, growth, and learning.
By picking up this book, you’ve signaled to the universe that you’re ready to trust, listen, and work to realize your greatest potential. Please know that I’m not out to convert you to my belief system or insist that I know the “right” way to feel happy or spiritually fulfilled—I have no agenda here. Believe, Ask, Act is about you and your journey. I can only do what my own spirit guides have asked of me, which is to share what I’ve been shown will help you live a meaningful life. It’s my greatest hope, and God’s, that you understand and value who you are, why you’re here, and how your choices impact His universe.
The principles behind Believe, Ask, Act have helped thousands of my clients connect to the Other Side; break free from obstacles in their spiritual, emotional, and professional lives; and become more empowered and fulfilled by their everyday choices. Call me psychic, but I have a feeling you’re next.
Nearly all my new clients come to me with the same complaint, which goes something like this: “I meditate, go to conferences, think positively, post intentions all over my house—and yet I’m not landing the project/spouse/happiness/closure I need. Why isn’t the universe cooperating? Are my angels on hiatus? What is going on?” This is when their Universal Teams swoop in, sometimes shaking their heads in disbelief, to talk about how working on certain spiritual priorities will release blocks that get in the way of forward motion. I’ve found that if you listen to this guidance, you become unstuck and life starts to flow again; if you ignore or address only parts of it, the cycle becomes fixed and this energy feeds other problems—think of it like a traffic jam or pileup on the highway. What was once a single block keeps you from happiness in other areas of your life.
Many self-help experts insist that changing your mind-set or expanding your beliefs will be enough to steer you through trials, but I’m here to tell you that cheerful thoughts and a fine inner voice will not do the heavy lifting on their own. This is a common misperception among my clients who become blocked. They spend a lot of time seeking and studying but have little idea of how to get to their next step with deliberate action guided by their angels and spirit guides. Thus, their efforts fall short time and again and leave them feeling hopeless.
When I channel Universal Teams, they often emphasize that life marches on with or without you. It’s up to you to make choices that cause you to take action and risks, up to you to move toward your calling and learn lessons that can inform your path. Positive thinking has its place, but it isn’t enough. You must establish and practice a belief in a higher power, ask your divine guidance the right questions, and follow their direction. If you go off course, that’s okay. You’ll reflect on the situation, learn from it, and try again. Without learning and growth, there’s no movement. And movement matters. Clients often think that if a goal is “meant to be,” the process of reaching it will feel miraculous at every turn. Sometimes that’s true. But missteps can also be part of a learning process that takes advantage of your flaws, since doors fly open when you move through challenges. If you had the ability to make ideal decisions 24/7, you’d be orchestrating God’s plan as one of His messengers, not learning from them as a human in this world.
In fact, I’ve been shown that the difference between those who achieve joy and progress toward their goals and those who don’t isn’t that they meditate more, love more, or write themselves more uncashed checks than the next person. And it’s not about leaning harder on the Law of Attraction, because the universe’s power is limited if you only change your mind. You must use Believe, Ask, and Act to pursue the fulfillment, meaning, and wholeness you crave.
In Believe, Ask, Act, I’ll help you do the work that will advance you along your soul’s best path. This means taking a break from the vision boards, sharpening your intuition, trusting God’s and your Team’s guidance, and putting one earthly foot in front of the other to encourage positive change and motion.
Believe, Ask, Act is divided into three sections to help you utilize the steps and understand the context in which they exist. Throughout, I will also share inspiring true stories from my own journey, counseling sessions, and readings to illustrate how Believe, Ask, and Act create tangible results. In Part I, I’ll illustrate why and how Believe, Ask, and Act work by sharing how they’ve shaped my own life. I’ll explain your role in the universe and introduce you to the souls in your Universal Team. I’ll also break down the steps so you feel prepared to practice them with confidence. In Part II, I’ll explain some of the common spiritual priorities that make or break happiness and help you use the three steps to actually release the blocks that occur when you neglect them. By Part III, you’ll have honed your instincts and feel so adept at using this practice that you’ll be ready to fold it into your everyday life. The more you implement Believe, Ask, and Act, the more it becomes part of you. It reminds me of learning multiplication tables—through repetitive behavior, you just know four times four is sixteen. Likewise, the more you communicate with your Team and see results, the easier it becomes to recognize and trust their guidance. In doing so, you’ll increasingly marry your spiritual and worldly selves.
In my work, I rely on highly evolved souls to guide my words. This book is no different. Everything I advise has been channeled from my Team, especially the exercises, tools, and reflections in Part II. These souls were eager to be heard!
It’s time to awaken. Pay attention. Understand your role on this plane and what the universe has to offer. I’m shown that a lot of us need the road to fulfillment and happiness clarified and laid out plainly—and that’s okay. The process and universal energy embedded in the Believe, Ask, and Act paradigm are your answer. At its core, Believe, Ask, Act is about creating your life as your soul intends and learning lessons along the way. You will discover how to utilize free will, how to become attuned to divine guidance, and how to fulfill your greatest desires. It’s a remarkable balancing act and one we will now learn how to master together. Let’s begin.
