The fear of letting go can keep us from enjoying the moment we’re living right now. Both Clara and Isaiah take on the task of caring for four orphaned children, knowing that soon they will need to hand those children over to members of their extended family. Learning to live every minute and trusting that God is leading them in the direction they must go is a lesson they—and all of us—must learn. I would like to think I would be as willing to love deeply and then let go as Clara and Isaiah are, but anyone who has lost someone dear to them knows that can be the most difficult part of life.
