This was such a hard book to write, and yet, I’m sad to be done with the Horus Group and this series. So much has changed since 2014 when I started writing Cole’s book. I write to escape, and to provide escape, and I worried immensely that this series can’t provide that anymore. But when I got Ellie and Jason alone together in a room, they were a lot of fun. I hope that came across.
