Dedication

I have to dedicate this, my first ever novel, to my family. For my husband, who kindly overlooked my neglect of the laundry; and for my children, who patiently listened to me read them sections I’d written. Even though they had no desire to hear my musings, they were wise enough to pretend it interested them. Thank you, and I love you each more than words can express.
