I got to work and one of the guys, Don, I was friends with came up to me and put his hands on my shoulders and pushed down on me. “You look like you are walking on a cloud.” “Oh, I think I am or having a dream, pinch me. I started testing TVs, you have to be careful to turn off the power source and ground out the power. My mind drifted off to Linda and “owww”, and I was on the floor with everybody looking at me. “What happened?” “You forgot to unplug the power cord before you unhooked the picture tube plug again.”
The one girl I worked with was standing right over me in a dress with no panties on and said “You were most likely thinking about trying to get your hands in my pants, oh, I am not wearing any. Jack said “He was thinking about that girl from school, he really has it bad for her. Better be careful you could get yourself killed.” I finished my shift and went home. I got home, showered and went to bed, but I could not really sleep. All I could think about was Linda and how beautiful she is. I love her so very much.
The next morning I could not wait to get to Linda’s house. When I got there she was waiting for me. We held each other tight and kissed several times. It was a nice warm day so Linda said, “We should go for a walk down to the lake.” As we walked I said, “I don’t even know your last name.” Linda said, “It is Von Haskeilmyer as in Haskeilmyer Air Craft. My parents own that, Haskeil Cargo and Swedish Air Lines.” “Oh my, now I know how you are so rich,” I said. “It is only money, without love it does not mean a thing. Now for the first time I care about the businesses because they will be ours in few years.”
