People often invest in whatever might be performing the best. Sure, you might find a business that has a good cash flow and is in the middle of a pattern reversing itself into a certain direction. Does that mean you actually know what will happen next? Never invest in a business that you have not heard of. Instead, concentrate on understanding what is available on the market based on markets or groups you are familiar with. If you are interested in a business that you are unfamiliar with you should exercise due diligence to find as much data on that business as possible.
