Incident: Mr. Austen reports that Robert is displaying a pattern of intentional disruption in gym class. His recent actions include interrupting directions, purposely disrupting game play by scoring points against his own team, splashing classmates with water from the water fountain, and refusing to return from the girls’ side of the gym. Robert has also been removed from class after multiple incidents of horseplay.

Action taken: 2 days’ detention. Ms. MacPherson expressed frustration with Robert’s behavior and said she was “out of ideas.” She also expressed concern that Robert lacks a positive male role model. Ms. MacPherson was referred to Barry Lancaster for recommendations.
