Margaritas are a refreshing drink to begin with, but with this bubbling version, you’ll want them even more, especially in the summer. You’ll be surprised at how well the flavor of the jalapeño works with the bubbly champagne.
INGREDIENTS:
2 jalapeño rings
2 tablespoons cilantro leaves
1 ounce orange liqueur
2 ounces lemon juice
2 ounces white tequila
1 ounce gomme syrup
1 ounce champagne
salt, for the glass
PREPARATION:
1. Place the jalapeño rings and cilantro leaves in a glass. Crush gently.
2. Into that same glass, add the orange liqueur, lemon juice, tequila, and gomme syrup. Mix with a spoon to combine well, and add a little bit of ice.
3. Serve in a margarita glass, adding the champagne as the final touch.
