FROM THE TALES OF NYA-DREAM-SOWER
The stars are our dreams. Nya, the larger moon, swollen fat with our hidden hopes, casts them out across the bowl of the sky as she travels. If she finds our dreams worthy, they may grow heavy and fall, taking root in the ice to become something more.
Then the Dragon Moon, Nya’s father—so small and mean— will make his yearly climb up the edge of the distant mountains. When he does, we must all hide our dreams well, for the dragons will soon rise, and be hungry.
