Acknowledgements

I dedicated LRPD to fic writers. I’m going to acknowledge the same folks here for the latter half of Alex and Eli’s story.

Fic was the first place I ever found stories about LGBTQ+ characters that had happy endings, (often written by real-life queer adults!), and for a confused queer middle-schooler absolutely drowning in spiritual guilt, this discovery may very well have changed my life.

So I’d like to acknowledge all the Livejournal and Fanfiction.net and Dreamwidth writers who introduced me to the wonder of writing, the GeoCities and print zine folks that came before them, and the Tumblr and AO3 creators now. I wish I could thank every commenter on every fic I’ve written and every friend I’ve made through fandom, but that would take too long.
