You’ve set those new Moon intentions and now it’s time to do something about them. Work with the waxing Moon to get things moving in the right direction. This is the ideal time to create a strategy, get prepared and be proactive so that you can cultivate something sustainable.
If you could do one thing each day towards your new Moon intention, what would those actions be? Work back from the goal and ask yourself: what can I do today, this week and next month that will support it to become reality? Work out how long each task will take and schedule the actions in your diary. For a longer task, you could allocate yourself an amount of time to work on it each day. Give yourself one task per day: it’s less overwhelming and more likely to happen. I’d recommend doing your task first thing in the morning so that it’s a priority and less likely to be met with the excuse that you didn’t have time. Otherwise, work out a time that suits your schedule better. Here are some examples of tasks:
A little bit of accountability can go a long way to make sure that you do what you say you will. Do this with your friend, partner, children or best witches so that you can support and cheer each other on. In the morning, message your accountability buddy/ies to let them know three things: (a) What you’re grateful for, (b) What you’re going to achieve today/this week/this Moon cycle, and (c) What you’re excited about. Share whatever feels true for you. I really like WhatsApp for this because you can use it to leave short and sweet voice messages for each other.
You can do this on the waxing Moon or make it a morning ritual where you send each other messages: it doesn’t have to be every day. It could be from Monday to Friday so that you’ve got the weekend to rest and recharge, which are both actions too.
Music is so emotive and can help you get in the right frame of mind to slay. Create a playlist of songs related to your new Moon intention.
If you’re calling in more money or clients, curate songs focused on money and success. If you’re cultivating more confidence, line up songs that make you feel like you’re winning. If you’re calling in love, find songs that get you in the mood. If you’re calling in support for a challenging situation at work, choose songs that help you feel supported. You could create your playlist on the waxing Moon: listen to it in the morning, when you’re on your way to work, when you’re going through your to-do list, while you’re exercising or as you’re getting ready for bed.
