TECHNIQUES: AROMATHERAPY, CRYSTALS, SIMPLE TOUCH, TAPPING, VISUALIZATION
Fear of abandonment arises from wounds we experienced early in life, such as poor attachment to our parents and loss of loved ones or friends. This fear is one of the most common issues that continues to affect us as adults, causing energy imbalance and dis-ease.
Black Tourmaline and Carnelian Healing Touch
Fear of abandonment arises from feeling unsafe (root chakra) and attachments to family, friends, or community (sacral chakra). Therefore, crystals that support these areas can help. Do the following for 5 to 10 minutes:
1
.
Go to a place where you won’t be disturbed. Sit comfortably.
2
.
Hold freshly cleansed black tourmaline in your receiving (nondominant) hand and place that hand over your root chakra. Hold freshly cleansed carnelian in your giving (dominant) hand and place that hand over your sacral chakra.
3
.
Visualize fear flowing out of your root chakra and being absorbed by the tourmaline. Visualize healing orange light flowing from your hand through the carnelian and into your sacral chakra.
Essential Oil Epsom Salt Bath
Epsom salt removes negative energy by absorbing it. The essential oils support your root and sacral chakras, which are often imbalanced when you fear abandonment.
¼ cup Epsom salt
10 drops geranium essential oil
10 drops orange essential oil
Run the bath and add the Epsom salt and essential oils under the running water. Relax in the bath for about 10 minutes, breathing in the aroma. Before you step out and dry off, allow the water to drain completely from the tub, visualizing your fear of abandonment going down the drain.
Tapping for Abandonment
Use the tapping sequence
here
. As you tap, repeat the following:
Side of hand: “Even though I fear abandonment, I love and accept myself completely.”
Remaining points: “I am safe. I am loved. I am never alone.”
